 IGP DISU APPROVES POSTING OF NEW POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS TO COMMANDS, FORMATIONS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible Police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders. Accordingly, SP Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 5, and can be reached on 08038773657; SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, anipr, has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be reached on 09152481510. *Suspect attributes the act to Devil's influence*
On the 6/10/2020 Police operatives attached to Okpoko Division arrested one Ejike Kanu 'm' aged 33years native of Elugwu mkporo in Ohafia LGA of Abia State but resides at Umuobom street Okpoko, Anambra State.
2. Suspect allegedly lured his neighbours daughter aged 7years old and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her inside his wife's shop.
3. Police detectives visited the scene and took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration was confirmed by the medical doctor.
4. Meanwhile,the suspect has voluntarily confessed and attributes his act to devil's influence.Case would be transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police CP *John B.Abang,fdc*.after which suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
