  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. *Suspect attributes the act to Devil's influence*
On the 6/10/2020 Police operatives attached to Okpoko Division arrested one Ejike Kanu 'm' aged 33years native of Elugwu mkporo in Ohafia LGA of Abia State but resides at Umuobom street Okpoko, Anambra State.
2. Suspect allegedly lured his neighbours daughter aged 7years old and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her inside his wife's shop.
3. Police detectives visited the scene and took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration was confirmed by the medical doctor.
4. Meanwhile,the suspect has voluntarily confessed and attributes his act to devil's influence.Case would be transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police CP *John B.Abang,fdc*.after which suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
