 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. *Suspect attributes the act to Devil's influence*
On the 6/10/2020 Police operatives attached to Okpoko Division arrested one Ejike Kanu 'm' aged 33years native of Elugwu mkporo in Ohafia LGA of Abia State but resides at Umuobom street Okpoko, Anambra State.
2. Suspect allegedly lured his neighbours daughter aged 7years old and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her inside his wife's shop.
3. Police detectives visited the scene and took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration was confirmed by the medical doctor.
4. Meanwhile,the suspect has voluntarily confessed and attributes his act to devil's influence.Case would be transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police CP *John B.Abang,fdc*.after which suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
