 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. PRESIDENT BUHARI MOURNS POPULAR DRAMATIST, JIMOH ALIU.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

President Muhammadu Buhari condoles with the theatre and entertainment industry, the Aliu family, and Ekiti State government on the loss of popular dramatist, Chief Jimoh Aliu, aged 80.
The President salutes the dedication of the deceased to his art, which saw him forming the Jimoh Aliu Concert Party In 1966, remaining committed to drama and entertainment for over 50 years.
President Buhari says the man popularly called Aworo, will be missed by all lovers of good drama, and commends his skills as a well-rounded artist, having been a sculptor, film writer, playwright, actor and director, rolled into one.
He prays that the soul of the renowned thespian would Rest In Peace, and that God will comfort all those who mourn him.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
