 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. The ongoing protest in the country has led to loss of lives and properties.Many people use this opportunity to do what has been on their mind for so long.People are now diverting their focus from protesting, now they are out destroying properties.
Popular Nollywood actress,Uche Elendu has cried out on social media stating that her shop which was worth over 100 million naira has been looted by Hoodlums.According to her,the sad incident happened on the 21st of October.
She shared the pictures from her empty and vandalized shop on her official Instagram page.She also made it known that the shop was her investment from all her years of hard work and struggle and now it's all gone under one day
She wrote "I was trying to get myself to recover from the heartbreak of innocent lives lost
during the protest , now my hard work and investment is gone..looted by the same people we are fighting for...oh lord strengthen me".
