 LASCOPA INTRODUCES TOLL-FREE LINE FOR CONSUMERS, URGES RESIDENTS TO REPORT FAKE, EXPIRED PRODUCTS, POOR SERVICES  The Lagos State Government has urged residents to "tell it to LASCOPA" by promptly reporting fake, expired, adulterated and counterfeit products, misleading advertisements, poor services and other consumer-related violations through the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency's toll-free consumer helpline, 080 0005 2726, or by email at lasgcopa@gmail.com or the Agency's Social media handles - Facebook: lascopa, Instagram: lasgcopa, X (Twitter): lasgcopa  The General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of LASCOPA, Afolabi Solebo, Esq., stated that the toll-free line provides consumers with a direct, accessible channel to report violations, seek guidance and get timely action. When I addressed #EndSARS campaigners in Abeokuta earlier today, I expressed my strong dissatisfaction with how the youth have been taken for granted by leaders for too long, which is the root of the current widespread protests across the Country.
Thankfully, our persistent demands don't end with the disbandment of the SARS. It is just the beginning. The people have said they want a total reform which thankfully too, the President has shown genuine commitment to.
Police brutality is a systemic evil that must be taken seriously, so other State Governors and I are already working out how to address the menace in each of our states to complement what is being done at the centre.
Even as we wait keenly but patiently for the reforms to be actualised, let's rest assured that Ogun State will always listen to her people. As we have not pressed charges against over 30 arrested but now free protesters, we never will.
