 IGP DECLARES OPEN 2025 NIGERIA POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE …Tasks PPROs on strategic communication, combating misinformation The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, declared open the 2025 Annual Conference of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) of the Nigeria Police Force, held at the Police Resource Centre, Abuja. In his keynote address, the IGP described the annual conference as “a strategic national engagement and a critical platform for strengthening police-public communication, shaping national narratives constructively, and deepening trust between the Police and citizens.” He emphasised that modern-day policing is increasingly defined by public trust, transparency, and the quality of communication between law enforcement agencies and the public, noting that the Public Relations Officers remain central to institutional credibility. ANAMBRA POLICE DISLODGED NOTORIOUS ARMED ROBBERY SYNDICATE TERRORISING ONITSHA AND ENVIRONS.{GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

*Fatally injured two gang members during a gun duel and recover firearm,ammunition and other incriminating items*
On the 11/12/2020 at about 10:10am,there was a distress call that four armed robbery suspects who belonged to a gang led by Ikanda(a notorious armed robber presently remanded in prison custody in connection with a murder case) were operating along Zik's Avenue by Miss Ellems Onitsha.
Following the distress call, Police operatives attached to Fegge Division Onitsha quickly responded and rushed to the scene.As soon as the suspected armed robbers sighted the police they engaged them into a gun duel.In the process two suspects were fatally wounded and overpowered while two others escaped .The injured Suspects one alias Dorgba and Fela whose real names are yet to unknown were rushed to the hospital for treatment but certified dead on arrival by a medical doctor and their corpses deposited at the mortuary.
Meanwhile,one locally made double barrel gun,four(4) live cartridges, two expended cartridges,a charm, two wraps of dried leaves suspected to be indian hemp,two techno phones and other items were recovered from the suspects and registered as exhibits.
Consequently,the Command once again reassure 'Ndi Anambra' of their safety before,during and after this Yuletide season and urged them not to relent in providing timely information through the emergency number 07039194332 for prompt response, please.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
