 The vest did the job - Donald Trump confirms agent injured in D.C. shooting scare Donald Trump has confirmed that a Secret Service agent was injured during a shooting scare at a major press event in Washington, D.C. Speaking after the incident, Trump said the officer was hit at close range but avoided serious harm thanks to protective gear.  “One officer was shot but saved by the fact that he was wearing a very good bulletproof vest,” he said, adding that the agent is now recovering and in good spirits. The situation unfolded during the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where attendees were settling in for the evening when gunfire was heard. Witnesses described a sudden shift from calm to panic, with people quickly moving for cover under tables as security responded. GIRLFRIEND ALLEGEDLY SETS BOYFRIEND ABLAZE IN HIS HOME AT THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING IN GBOKO TOWN, BENUE STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Yesterday at Gboko south, a guy simply identified as Jude, was set ablaze by his girlfriend. The reason for her action can be traced to the guy's refusal to marry her due to her misbehiour and hatred towards his mother.
Neighbours stated that they had had a heated argument earlier in the day, where the said boyfriend asked her to pack out of his house. He thought he had heard the last of it but he was wrong.
About 1.30am, the girlfriend reportedly returned to the compound with three men, they tore open the nets at the window and started pouring a substance into the room, suspected to be petrol, through the window.
When we spoke to the young man who is currently receiving treatment at a nearby Hospital, he said he saw the girlfriend himself from the inside as she was pulling off the nets.
The girlfriend threw a container into the room where he was, with his mother and another 2yr old child and immediately lit a match stick and took off. It was later learnt she had parked a bike outside the house.
One of the neighbours who claimed to have witnessed the incidence further stated that, the girlfriend had padlocked the door from the outside.
The whole room caught fire, and the young man, confused and helpless battled to save his mother and the little child in the room.
His cries for help woke neighbours around who rushed to see what was happening. They met a burning room and three people battling to escape from the fire. They broke the door, managed to put out the fire and rushed the young man to the hospital.
Although all three persons in the room are still alive, the young man is left with severe burns from the fire incidence.
His mother and the child were however not terribly affected, just minor burns here and there.
The said girlfriend appears to be on the run as she is nowhere to be found.More photos below.
