 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. NAF: RESCUE OF ABDUCTED STUDENTS OF GSSS KANKARA, KATSINA STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Three hundred and forty four boys abducted from Government Science Secondary School (GSSS) Kankara, Katsina State on 11 December 2020 were safely returned to the Katsina State Government House this morning, escorted by a combined team of personnel from various security agencies with air cover provided by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
As from the early hours of 12 December 2020, the NAF deployed additional air assets, including additional Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft, to Katsina to provide persistent surveillance over identified areas of interest within Katsina and Zamfara States, whilst maintaining offensive air presence to deny the abductors freedom of action.
NAF Medical personnel were also part of the Team that provided immediate medical care to the boys after their release from the forest, while additional NAF Special Forces personnel were also deployed to provide support.More photos below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
