 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Anambra State Government Lifts The Suspension Of Three (3) Traditional Rulers Under Review
Anambra state government has lifted the suspension of Three (3) traditional rulers in the state previously suspended on the recommendations of the Anambra Traditional Rulers Council, with immediate effects.
According to the statement issued and signed by Hon. Greg Obi, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs Anambra State, dated 31st December 2020.
The statement reads...
His Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra State, in a new year day act of magnanimity, has decided to lift the suspension of the three (3) remaining Traditional Rulers effective immediately in exercise of the powers bestowed on him under the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Law of 2007 as amended.
The affected Traditional Rulers are shown below:
1. IGWE KELLY N. NKELI of Igbariam
2. IGWE DR. EMEKA ILOUNO of ifitedunu
3. IGWE PETER .A. UYANWA of Ukwulu
