 Somali World Cup Referee Denied Entry to United States Award-winning Somali referee, Omar Artan, has been denied entry into the United States despite holding a valid visa, according to a senior official in Somalia’s sports ministry. Artan, who is set to become the first Somali referee to officiate at the FIFA World Cup finals, was stopped at Miami International Airport and subsequently returned to Istanbul, where he had been residing. The reason for the denial was not immediately disclosed. However, Somalia is among the countries affected by a travel ban introduced by the administration of Donald Trump. Reacting to the development, Ciise Aden Abshir, a senior adviser to Somalia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports and a former national team captain, described Artan as one of Africa’s most respected referees. “Omar Artan is among Africa’s most respected referees and deserves the support of the entire football community,” Abshir told AFP on Monday. In a video uploaded to Facebook, Elder Prophet TB Joshua reveals the reason why he was unable to attend his biological daughter’s wedding.
Let us remember that his first daughter was married on December 16, 2020 to her South African husband, who was also a worker at the Synagogue of the Church of All Nations.
People did not expect the wedding to be missed because the bride in question is his biological daughter, while the groom is his spiritual son. However, everyone who was present at the event was taken aback by his absence.

Since then, people have been trying to find out his reasons for not attending the wedding. They want to know if the wedding took place without their permission.
Prophet TB Joshua shared a video on his Facebook page where he preached on the subject titled ‘Persecution is Promotion’. As he preached on the subject, he stressed the importance of obeying God’s word no matter how difficult it might be for you.
He recalled an event that took place during his daughter’s wedding. He explained how God instructed him to meet him in the mountains for the 2021 message. First he had to obey God because He is all he has and without Him, he would fail.

In addition, he explained that he had had several closed-door meetings with the bride and groom and that he fully supports the wedding. He concluded by saying that he had delivered his blessings before the wedding.
