 UK secondary schools will start screening Netflix’s hit show Adolescence as part of a government-sponsored program to teach students about the dangers of misogyny.  The show, praised for its sensitive portrayal of complex issues, will be used in classrooms to spark discussions about harmful online influences. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who watched the series with his teenage children, said it was a powerful tool to help young people navigate modern challenges. Starmer emphasized the importance of addressing the content young people consume and the conversations they have with their peers. He stated that by listening to young people and charities, society can better understand and tackle the issues raised in the show. EFCC RAIDS YAHOO BOYS HIDEOUTS IN OSUN,OGUN; ARREST 39 SUSPECTS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, arrested 39 internet fraud suspects, also known as 'Yahoo-Yahoo Boys’.
Ten of them were arrested at Ilesha, Osun State, while Twenty-nine others were arrested in different locations at Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
Those arrested at Ilesha are: Oyesoji Tosin, Olaniyi Emmanuel, Samson Ojo, Sodiq Sunkanmi, Kolawole Abiodun, Oluwole Gbenga, Olajuyigbe Olamide, Oyebanji Olabisi Temitope, Ayoola Oluwafemi, and Oluwatobiloba Gbadamosi .
The suspects arrested at Ago-Iwoye include Emmanuel Lawal, Kareem Olamide, Adekunle Kehinde Salawu, Bella Tijesu, Aderibigbe Adedoyin, Anifowose Hammed, Lateef Adetayo, Busari Oluwatobi, Tobi Adeyemi, Gabriel Obisesan, Oluwole Olasunkanmi and Odetola Samson.
Others are Farouq Dosu, Ayilara Akindeji, Ademola Adedare, Ishola Adeleke, Alex Olasunmade, Idowu Abolaji, Okegbenro Idris, Akinlolu Akintunde, Oshoboke Shashaeniyan, Adeyemi Opeyemi, Oluwatoyin Olutekunbi, Albert Charles, Olawuyi Olanrewaju, Tunde Adekoya, Gbolahan Olalekan, Alade Oluwasegun and Ajanaku Qudus.
The suspects were arrested after series of surveillance based on intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
Items recovered from them include seven cars, laptop computers, mobile phones, and several documents containing false presences.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
