 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. LASG CLOSES LANE AT YABA AXIS FOR RED LINE RAIL SOIL TESTING.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE

In continuation of the Multimodal Master Plan in the transportation sector, the Yaba Overpass will be closed temporarily for three weeks from Tuesday 9th to Tuesday, 23rd February, 2021.
According to a statement signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, the lane closure is necessary to commence soil testing along Muritala Mohammed Way, Ojuelegba Road, and Tejuosho as part of the Traffic Management Plan to actualise the LRMT Red Line Phase 1, Oyingbo to Agbado.
The Commissioner, therefore, advised motorists to utilise the main carriageway during the temporary closure, assuring that the State Traffic Management personnel will be available to direct traffic for minimal inconvenience to road users.
Oladeinde also implored residents of the State, especially motorists plying the corridor, to cooperate and support the State Government in its efforts to bring about lasting solutions to the transportation challenges across the Lagos metropolis.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
