 Walton, Kentucky- 2 elderly women lose their lives and another individual is critically injured in a crash that caused a dump truck to crash through restaurant.  While diners were enjoying a meal at Boondocks Pub on Tuesday, April 8th, a tragic incident occurred shattering the peaceful scene. At around 4:30 p.m. an SUV pulled out in front of a fully loaded dump truck. The driver of the dump truck attempted to brake and steer clear of the SUV but they were not able to avoid a collision. The SUV was struck by the dump truck and the impact caused the SUV to cross the southbound lane where it struck a guardrail and flipped before coming to rest on its top. Sadly the crash took the lives of 91-year-old Eva Mulberry and 89-year-old Betty Holland. A 66-year-old woman who was in the SUV was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. PDP Mourns Ex-Legal Adviser, Victor Kwon
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is grief-stricken by the death of our former National Legal Adviser, Barr. Victor Kwon, describing the death as a huge blow not only to the PDP but also the nation, particularly in the struggle for the entrenchment of justice and rule of law in our nation.
Barr. Victor Kwon was an exceptionally patriotic Nigerian; a very energetic democrat, who gave his best towards the unity, stability and fight for good governance in our country.
As the National Legal Adviser of our party, Barr. Victor Kwon displayed an extra-ordinary commitment and brilliance in the legal practice and led the party in solving many knotty legal issues.
Even after his tenure as the Legal Adviser, Barr. Kwon remained very active in giving legal advice towards the growth and stability of our party as well as exhibiting uncommon loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the PDP to the very end.
The PDP is greatly saddened that Barr. Victor Kwon left the state at the time our party and indeed the nation at large, need his patriotism and wealth of experience the most.
Our party deeply commiserates with the Kwon family and the Plateau state chapter of our party praying to God to grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
