 PoS agents frown at CAC’s registration mandate, says customers will pay more Some Point of Sale (PoS) agents in the FCT, have frowned at the new directive of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for them to register with the commission. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that CAC had on Monday issued a two-month registration deadline to PoS operators to register their agents, merchants, and individuals with the commission in line with legal requirements and the directives of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The agents, who spoke to NAN in Abuja on Wednesday, said the registration which would require money would impact on transaction cost paid by customers. Mr Kofi Kolawole, a PoS agent, said the registration would deplete the profits in the business. Kolawole said the registration would also discourage people from entering the business. “I know that this registration when actualised by our operators will increase the amount they charge us. “This means that the cost we charge

..As Police operatives nab 3 more Suspected cultists.
On 28/2/2021 at about 6:20am,after receiving credible intelligence report, police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit(SPACS) arrested three notorious cultists following raids conducted at their hideouts.The suspects are,
(i).Ogonna Uche Joel 'm' aged 18years of Amawbia in Awka South LGA of Anambra State.
(ii).Ebube Ogonna 'm' aged 19 years of same address,
(iii).Onwuamaeze Arinze 'm' aged 25years of Amawa village,Ogbunike in Oyi LGA of Anambra State.
Suspects confessed to be members of "PAYTON"and "VIKINGS CONFRATERNITY"They will be charged to court for prosecution after conclusion of investigation.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police *CP Monday Bala Kuryas,fsi* further reassure all Ndi Anambra that the Command under his watch will continue to work assiduously until crime in the State is reduced to the barest minimum. The CP also implore well meaning members of the Public resident in the State to Co-oporate with the Police and report suspicious person(s)or movement(s)to the nearest Police Station or through the Command emergency number 112 or call 07039194332 for prompt response.
