A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. *POLICE OPERATIVES BURST ANOTHER NOTORIOUS ARMED ROBBERY SYNDICATE TERRORISING NKPOR/OBOSI AXIS*
..Nab two suspects,recover arms and ammunition.
On the 27/2/2021 at about 5:30pm,following a distress call that armed robbers were operating along Nkpor/Obosi axis,Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit in conjunction with Scorpion vigilante group,Obosi quickly responded and moved to the scene.On sighting the police,the hoodlums engaged them into a fierce gun battle,as a result,the two suspects sustained gunshot injuries on their hand and leg leading to their arrest as follows,
(i).Chiboy Ezike 'm' aged 25years of Abagana in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State and,
(i).Chiemere Ajuluchukwu 'm' aged 23years of Awada area.
Suspects equally confessed to be members of a secret cult group called "Supreme Vikings Confraternity".Exhibits recovered in their possessions include Two Locally made pistols and 10 live cartridges.Suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment after which they will be charged to court for prosecution.
Meanwhile,the Commissioner of Police *CP Monday Bala Kuryas,fsi* thanked "Ndi Anambra" for their cooperation and urged them to sustain the tempo by assisting the Command with actionable intelligence in order to discover authors of crime in the State.The CP further reassure the public that the command under his watch will continue to protect lives and properties of all the citizens in accordance with internationally acceptable best practises.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
