 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. *MISSING PERSONS*:
On the 4/2/2021 at about 4:pm,a case of missing persons was reported at CPS Awka by one Ukamaka Anunobi "f" of NO.7 Emeka Chukwura Street Amikwo Awka that two of her step daughters named Precious Chukwuemeka 'f' aged 17years and Mmesoma Chukwuemeka 'f' aged 12 years of same address left the house to unknown destination but did not return home.
2. Police circulated the signal through the control room while effort is being intensified to find the missing children.They are fair in complexion one is about 5ft tall while the other is 3 and half feet tall without a tribal mark.
3. The Command implores members of the Public with useful information about the children's whereabout to report at the nearest Police Station or through the following Police emergency number 07039194332.
