 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. 8 KILLED,4 INJURED IN ATTACKS SPANNING CHIKUN,GIWA AND KAJURU LGA.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

KDSG Security Update: Wednesday 31st March 2021.
Eight killed, four injured in attacks spanning Chikun, Giwa and Kajuru local government areas.
Eight people have been killed, and four injured by armed bandits in separate attacks dotted across Chikun, Giwa and Kajuru local government areas. These were outlined in reports made by security agencies to the Kaduna State Government.
At Kan Hawa Zankoro, near Ungwan Yako in Chikun local government area, armed bandits shot at a vehicle, which then somersaulted, leading to the deaths of six persons, and leaving four others injured. Those who lost their lives in the crash are listed as:
- Aisha Bello
- Uwaliya Alhaji Shehu
- Ramatu Sani
- Muhammad Shehu
- Aminu Ibrahim
- Ibrahim Abdu
The injured are:
- Zainab Alhaji Usman
- Surayya Bello
- Khalifa Sani
- Ushe Sani
In another incident, armed bandits attacked locals at Iburu in Kajuru LGA, and killed one Amos Yari.
Furthermore, armed bandits invaded Hayin Kanwa village, Fatika district, Giwa LGA, and shot dead one Alhaji Sule, a business man in the area, after he resisted their attempts to kidnap him.
Governor Nasiru El-Rufai received the reports with sadness, and prayed for the repose of the souls of those slain, while sending condolences to their families. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
