 Sudan war: Army says it inflicts heavy losses on RSF in Darfur, Kordofan Sudan’s army on Friday said that it inflicted heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during a series of air and ground operations carried out over the past week in the Darfur and Kordofan regions. In a statement, the military said its forces conducted strikes against RSF positions, destroying around 240 combat vehicles and killing hundreds of fighters, Anadolu Agency reported. The army said the operations also targeted what it described as RSF logistical and operational facilities, including drone-related sites and storage areas, as well as locations at Nyala Airport in South Darfur. It added that ground forces had succeeded in pushing RSF fighters out of wide areas in both Darfur and Kordofan, and that operations were ongoing to pursue remaining elements. The National Action on African Continental Free Trade Area AFCFTA has described the Olokola Free Trade Zone as a critical investment which has the potentials of further positioning Ogun State as a major industrial hub in the country.
The chairman of the Committee, Mr. Babafemi Lawal made this known during a sensitization visit to the Olokola Free Trade Zone stressing that the renewed commitment of the the State government would ensure more attention is given to the project.
Lawal lauded the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration for showing committment towards the project.
He added that the Committee was in the State to ensure government and businesses key into the various opportunities and benefits that are available through the African Free Continental Trade Agreement stressing that businesses based in the country must see the Agreement as an opportunity rather than a threat.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Ogun Water side Local Government Area, Hon. Femi Onanuga lauded the present administration for its efforts at ensuring the project fulfills its potentials and translate into improvement in the State economy. More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
