 A popular content creator has died from surgery complication     Esther Thomas, popularly known as Sunshine, was a Nigerian content creator, skit maker, and brand influencer. She died on Friday, 9 January 2026, after complications from fibroid surgery. She had been complaining of serious stomach pain from late December 2025.     Sunshine was first admitted at Orchid General Hospital in Lagos, where her friends said she was only given pain relief drugs because doctors were on strike. Her condition did not improve, so she was moved to another hospital on 2 January 2026, where tests showed she had a large fibroid and surgery was carried out. She later developed complications and died. After her death, friends blamed Orchid General Hospital online, saying she was neglected and did not receive proper treatment early enough. PDP Disowns Fake Townhall Meeting, Alerts Nigerians
The attention of our great party has been drawn to fliers, advertisements and publications by certain faceless individuals, posturing to have the approval and backing of our party to invite Nigerians to a purported 'Generation Next in PDP' Townhall meeting.
The makers of the said advertisement even went ahead to list some leaders and members of our party, including Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Bello Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Deputy National Chairman, North of the PDP, Senator Suleiman Nazif among others, as speakers in the supposed event, in a bid to bestow a semblance of legitimacy to the scheme.
For the avoidance of doubt, the PDP states in an unequivocal term, that it did not authorize nor is it in any way involved or connected with the event or these organizers.
The PDP therefore alerts the public, particularly our members and teeming supporters to completely disregard the said event as it has nothing to do with our party.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
