 Jill Biden to release memoir View From the East Wing in June  Former First Lady Jill Biden will release her memoir, View from the East Wing, on June 2. The book reflects on her experiences during Joe Biden’s presidency, including his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. Published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, the memoir will also be available as an audio edition narrated by Biden herself. The book offers an intimate look at life as First Lady during major historical events, including the Covid-19 pandemic and the aftermath of January 6, while sharing her personal perspective on the presidency and its impact on her family. For the first time, she details her experiences surrounding her husband’s choice not to seek reelection, sharing both the uplifting and challenging moments of that period. Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde has charged athletes representing Ogun State at the ongoing National Sport Festival in Edo State, to be good ambassadors and put in their best in the competition, as Ogun is known for excellence.
Kehinde gave the charge, while paying a solidarity visit to the State contingent at the Aminu Kano Hall, University of Benin, urging them to make the State proud and justify the government’s investment in sports.
He assured them that the State would reward good effort, while their welfare would not be taken for granted.
So far at the ongoing festival, Team Ogun has won a Gold Medal in Taekwondo, a Silver Medal in Badminton and Bronze Medals in Gunshu Taolu and Jianshu events of demonstration.More photos below.
