 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. NAPTIP: OFFICIAL LAUNCH AND HANDOVER CEREMONY OF THE BLUE BUS UNDER THE PREVENTION OF TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Earlier today, the official launch and handover ceremony of the Blue Bus under the Prevention of trafficking in persons through a travelling awareness-raising exposition of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and NAPTIP took place in Lagos State.
In attendance were, IOM Chief of mission, Franz Celetine, Consul General of Switzerland in Lagos Thomas Schneider, Migration Adviser, Swiss Embassy, Manuel Muhlbach, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim DG NAPTIP represented by Director Legal, Hassan Tahir.
The Blue Bus is a one-stop shop where vulnerable migrants, including community members, can get information on risks associated with trafficking in persons, where to report cases, and on-spot counselling services.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
