 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. COMPANY EXECUTIVE ARRAIGNED FOR N2.4M JOB SCAM IN ABUJA.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Office, on Tuesday June 28, 2021 arraigned one Mahmood Bello Abubakar, Managing Director of A.M Bello Nigeria Limited before Justice Bello Kawu of the Federal High Court sitting in Kubwa, Abuja for allegedly obtaining N2.4million (Two Million Four Hundred Thousand Naira) from on Moses Okpara on the pretext of securing Federal Government jobs for his children and acquaintances.


The offence is contrary to section 1(1) (a) and punishable under section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006.


The defendant pleaded ‘not guilty’ when the charge was read to him. Prosecution counsel, A.U. Ringim thereafter requested that the defendant be remanded at the Correctional Centre pending trial. The defendant’s counsel, G.E Ejekela however moved an oral bail application for his client which was refused by the court.


Justice Kawu adjourned the case till September 30, 2021 for commencement of trial.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
