 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. FINANCIAL AUTONOMY: NIGERIAN GOVERNORS FORUM DISCUSS IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Nigerian Governors Forum has been discussing modalities for the implementation of the financial autonomy granted State's Judiciary and the Legislature. 


Adamawa State Governor, Rt.Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Friday joined Chairman of the forum and Governor of Ekiti State Dr Kayode Fayemi, Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong and their Niger State counterpart, Abubakar Sani Bello at the critical meeting. 


The Adamawa State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Afraimu Jingi and the Commissioner of Finance Dr Ishaya Dabari were among other Attorneys General and Commissioners of Finance from the 36 State's at the meeting. Governor Kayode Fayemi Chair of the forum noted that the decision is in the interest of all the parties involved. 


The meeting deliberated on issues that revolved around financial autonomy for the State's Judiciary and Legislature. 

This follows the executive order 10, 2020 by President Muhammadu Buhari. 


The Federal Government had given a strong warning that refusal could force them to deduct at source by the Accountant General of the Federation and remitted to the two organs.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
