 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. GOV. ABIODUN VISITS GAS EXPLOSION SCENE, OPIC, CONDOLES WITH VICTIMS, FAMILIES.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun was in Lagos this afternoon on an assessment visit to the scene of the gas explosion that rocked the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation, OPIC Plaza and its environs in Ikeja.
On the visit, the Governor sympathised with families of persons who lost their lives as well as individuals and businesses who lost properties in the tragic incident. He also expressed strong hopes that survivors, who were receiving treatment in hospital, would recuperate speedily.
Speaking, Governor Abiodun appreciated first responders, especially the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA for their prompt and effective response which deescalated what could have been worse than what occured.
The Governor condoled with the entire Management and staff of the OPIC, led by its Managing Director, Arch. Biodun Fari.
The clearly grief-struck Governor was in company with some cabinet members and others.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
