 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. OGUN GOVT SYMPATHISES WITH VICTIMS OF OGERE INFERNO.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE

The Ogun State Government has extended its condolence to the families of those who lost their lives due to the fire incident that occurred in the early hours of today, around Ogere axis of the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, when a fully loaded fuel tanker collided with another truck during a heavy traffic along the highway.
The Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele who led a government delegation to the scene of the incident, commended officials of fire service and road management agencies for responding promptly to the emergency, which helped in limiting the tragic loss of lives.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele implored motorist to always obey traffic rules, promising that the State government would do its best to resolve the gridlock around the area.

After taking brief on the happening from relevant agencies managing the situation, the Deputy Governor, thereby directed the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya to coordinate the agencies, towards ensuring quick evacuation of trucks to ease vehicular movement along the corridor.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
