 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. UNICAL SUSPENDS SUG DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT 'QUEEN MANUYWHOR' FOR ALLEGED MOLESTATION.{PHOTO}

The University of Calabar has suspended the Students' Union Government Deputy Senate President, Queen Manuywhor for allegedly molesting a fellow student.


Queen, a 200 level student of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences hails from Rivers state. 


She has been asked to stop attending lectures, taking part in any test or examination as it concerns her academics while staying far away from the university's hostel, Hall 6 to be precise.


It could be recalled that the said Deputy Senate President of the Students Union Government University of Calabar, Manuywhor Queen was reported to have bullied a fellow student by asking her to kneel down and ordering the man o' war to slap her continuously. 


According to complains from different students, Queen is proud and full of herself because she is having an affair with the SUG President.


Queen who is a 200 level student had asked a final year student from the Faculty of Education who was involved in a little fight with her roommate to kneel down for over an hour and she commanded the man o' war to slap her. 


Many eyebrows have been raised concerning the issue. When Queen was questioned about it she stated that the girl disrespected her and she was punished for it.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
