 Sudan urges displaced citizens abroad to return home Sudan has called on all displaced citizens living abroad to return home, as the government steps up efforts to facilitate voluntary repatriation and remove barriers facing returnees. Prime Minister Kamil Idris said his office is committed to easing the return process and ensuring citizens can actively contribute to rebuilding the country, state media SUNA reports. Speaking during a visit to the Ashkeit border crossing in Wadi Halfa, Idris said authorities have taken steps to eliminate illegal levies and ensure that returning citizens are not subjected to additional fees, compulsory charges or arbitrary customs duties. He noted that such practices had previously placed an unnecessary burden on citizens without benefiting the state. APC SUSPENDS ROCHAS OKOROCHA FOR INSULTING PRESIDENT BUHARI IN PUBLIC.{PHOTOS}.

According to a letter from the party’s Imo State chapter dated July 12, 2021, Mr Rochas was suspended for anti-party activity.“This is to inform you that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has ratified your suspension by the Imo State Chapter of our great party for anti-party activities,” the letter said.
The ruling party accused Mr Rochas of “Continuous discrete meetings with the opposition party both at the state and national level, working in opposition to the APC-led government in Imo state, and flagrant public abuse on the person and office of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria (an APC-led government).
“This suspension follows after the recommendation by the Imo State Disciplinary Committee set up to investigate allegations of gross anti-party activities against you which is in line with Article 21 (B) I-VI of the party’s constitution,” the APC said.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
