 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. EID EL KABIR: COAS OBSERVES EID PRAYERS AT THE FRONT LINES.[PHOTOS].#PRESS RELEASE.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has performed this year's Eid-El Kabir prayers with troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) at the 212 parade ground in Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri. 


Lieutenant General Yahaya observed the prayers along with Principal Staff Officers from Army Headquarters, officers and soldiers of Theatre Command OPHK.


Delivering the EID sermon, the Acting Deputy Director Islamic Affairs 7 Division, Captain Mohammed Babangida prayed for peace and security of the nation. He made supplications to Allah for mercy, guidance and divine protection for the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and all members of the Armed Forces, especially in the ongoing fight against insurgency and other security challenges in the country.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
