 Air Peace Suspends Enugu Flights, Redirects Operations to Asaba Over Runway Safety Concerns Air Peace has announced the immediate suspension of all flights to Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu, citing severe safety concerns due to the deteriorating condition of the airport’s runway. The airline made the announcement in a statement on Saturday, stating that operations to and from Enugu will be diverted to Asaba, Delta State, until further notice. The airline highlighted ongoing disruptions caused by the poor state of the runway, describing the situation as unmanageable and urging the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to urgently address the issue. “At Air Peace, we prioritise safety over convenience. Suspending flights to Enugu will allow FAAN the opportunity to carry out necessary runway repairs,” the statement read. MAN ALLEDEDLY KILLED HIS 17-YEAR OLD PREGNANT WIFE FOR RITUALS THREE MONTHS AFTER THEIR WEDDING.{PHOTOS}.

Man allegedly k*lls his 17 years old  4-months pregnant wife who hails from Uli  for ritual 3 months after wedding.


A Nigerian man, Nnanna Emeka, is on the run after he allegedly killed his 4-month-old pregnant in Ugbele Mgbidi area of Imo State.


It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, July 3, 2021, just three months after the couple tied the knot. 


According to a source, “He wanted to take his wife out on a date, and then, probably take her to somewhere and k*ll her. He would have come back to cook up stories to cover his track. But unfortunately for him, the wife refused to go out with him.


Just few days before, she had told a friend that for the past week her husband’s character has changed, that she doesn’t understand him anymore. So, we believe that’s why she refused to go out with him. 


However, after trying fruitlessly to get his wife to go out with him, he allegedly decided to k*ll her inside their apartment and take her corpse to the place where the ritual will be performed.


He was said to have used a rod to hit her on her forehead. But while trying to transport the body, people became suspicious and confronted him. But he took to his heels and as I speak, he is no where to be found. 


They got married three months ago and the deceased was four months pregnant with his child.”.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
