 EXCITEMENT AS COMMUNITY TAKES OVER SOLAR DRIVE WATER PROJECT By Azuka Offor It was an atmosphere of joy and excitement at Awkuzu Community in Oyi Local Government Area as they receive the solution touch of a reticulated solar driven drinkable water borehole by the Soludo's administration. The President General of Awkuzu Town, Dr Ejike Ogoegbunam expressed  happiness over the restoration of the pipe born water  during a technical handover of the water project by the Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Awka. Dr Ogoegbunam thanked the state government for providing solar powered water borehole to their community, describing water as life. He then, promised that they will apply good measures to secure and sustain the wonderful project given to them by the state government. MAN ALLEDEDLY KILLED HIS 17-YEAR OLD PREGNANT WIFE FOR RITUALS THREE MONTHS AFTER THEIR WEDDING.{PHOTOS}.

Man allegedly k*lls his 17 years old  4-months pregnant wife who hails from Uli  for ritual 3 months after wedding.


A Nigerian man, Nnanna Emeka, is on the run after he allegedly killed his 4-month-old pregnant in Ugbele Mgbidi area of Imo State.


It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, July 3, 2021, just three months after the couple tied the knot. 


According to a source, “He wanted to take his wife out on a date, and then, probably take her to somewhere and k*ll her. He would have come back to cook up stories to cover his track. But unfortunately for him, the wife refused to go out with him.


Just few days before, she had told a friend that for the past week her husband’s character has changed, that she doesn’t understand him anymore. So, we believe that’s why she refused to go out with him. 


However, after trying fruitlessly to get his wife to go out with him, he allegedly decided to k*ll her inside their apartment and take her corpse to the place where the ritual will be performed.


He was said to have used a rod to hit her on her forehead. But while trying to transport the body, people became suspicious and confronted him. But he took to his heels and as I speak, he is no where to be found. 


They got married three months ago and the deceased was four months pregnant with his child.”.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
