 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. NIGERIAN FAMOUS MUSICIAN 'SOUND SULTAN' IS DEAD.{PHOTOS}.#RIP.

I {PINK REPUBLIC} have performed along side with him early 2000's and is so sad to announce that Popular singer, Lanre Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan, is dead.  
The 44 years old ‘Jagbajantis’ crooner, lost it to his battle with cancer of the throat.

Dr. Kayode Fasasi, in a statement on behalf of the Fasasi family, made the revelation.

He said: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our multitalented veteran singer, rapper, songwriter Olanrewaju Fasasi aka Sound Sultan.

“He passed away at the age of 44 following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.  “He is survived by his wife, three children and his siblings. We, his family, will appreciate the utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss.”

In May, Sound Sultan had reacted to news about his cancer diagnosis by saying, via Instagram, “I must not ignore the massive show of love. Thank you all.  “I will tell you my story myself it will be true then not false.” .One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
