  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. Two Suspected Thieves Burnt Beyond Recognition In Awka 


Two suspected thieves were set ablaze yesterday, Tuesday, 20th July, 2021, opposite Queen suite, Abakaliki street, Awka, Anambra State, at 11 pm,  after a hot chase by a vigilante group an eyewitness disclosed. 


It was alleged that before the apprehension of the suspected thieves, they had engaged in theft, and made away with the phone of a passer-by. This act was said to have propelled the vigilante group to hunt them. 


The group which opened fire created panic in the temporary site (temp site) area sending people to their heels. However, after a clear chase of the suspected thieves, serenity was maintained in the area. 


It was gathered that the thieves were immediately set ablaze upon interception and their bodies burnt beyond recognition. 


Some passersby think that the act would serve as a deterrent to others who are or play to engage in robbery. 


No security agent was at the location as of the time of filing this report.
