 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. After 17 years together and 7 years of marriage, Anita Okoye has filed for petition to divorce her husband, Paul Okoye of former music duo group P-Square.

Anita says their marriage broke down immediately after the birth of their twins.


Anita who tied the knot with Paul in 2014 asked an Abuja High Court to dissolve their 7-year-old marriage.


According to documents exclusively obtained by our correspondent, here are five reasons, Anita wants her marriage to the music star dissolved.


1. They no longer share mutual conjugal relationship as husband and wife


2. Lack of Spousal support

Anita also said that the music star shirked his responsibility as a husband by refusing to support and cater to her and her family members.


3. They no longer have communication as a couple


4. Irreconcilable differences


5. Extreme indifference towards her feelings.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
