 TROOPS OF OPHK SUSTAIN OFFENSIVES, NEUTRALISE TERRORISTS , RECORD SURRENDERS IN BORNO STATE Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have sustained intense offensive operations against Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists across Borno State, recording notable successes in clearance, fighting patrols and blocking operations. Under Operation DESERT SANITY V, sustained pressure along the Azir–Wajiroko axis on 10 January 2026 forced 11 terrorists fighters to surrender along with their AK 47 rifles and assorted ammunition. Earlier, on 9 January 2026, troops conducted extensive clearance operations in the Bulaagalda cluster, destroying several active terrorist enclaves and camps at Dagumba, Bonne, Yaganari, Gosuri and Umchile, including the notorious Abu Nazir and Abu Ahmed camps. ANOTHER ROBBERY SUSPECT NABBED WITH ARMS, AMMUNITION IN LAGOS

Efforts of the Lagos State Police Command to rid the State of criminal elements through constant proactive and visibility policing yielded yet another result recently when an armed robbery suspect was arrested with two locally-made pistols, five live cartridges and a criminal charm concealed in a bag.
The male suspect, Sunday Akpa, 24, was arrested in Iba area of the State by eagle -eyed anti- crime patrol team of the Iba Police Division at about 1730hrs of 13th August, 2021.

The suspect who belongs to a notorious dare-devil armed robbery gan suspected to be responsible for the spate of traffic robbery and sundry criminal activities
in Festac, Mike 2, Ojo, Alaba, and Iba areas of the State, was travelling in a commercial bus apparently to join other members of the gang for an operation when he was apprehended.

Sensing that the game was up, the suspect on seeing the combat readiness of the police team which had stopped the vehicle for a routine check, jumped down and took to his heels. He was however arrested by the policemen after a hot chase while the two arms and the ammunition were recovered from him.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has directed that the suspect should be transferred to the Command's Special Squad for indept investigation with a view to arresting other members of the gang.

While commending the policemen for their commitment to duty, the Commissioner of Police vows to maintain the onslaught on all criminals and other hoodlums still planning to ply their evil trade in the State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
