 21 CHILDREN RESCUED AS YAGBA EAST OFFICIALS INTERCEPT MANGAL CEMENT TRUCK, SUSPECTS MOVED TO LOKOJA 8th December, 2025 Authorities in Yagba East Local Government Area have confirmed the interception of a Mangal Cement truck found transporting 21 children under suspicious circumstances. Local security operatives reportedly stopped the vehicle during a routine check and discovered the minors hidden inside. The incident immediately raised concerns about possible child trafficking or unlawful transportation. Following preliminary questioning, the suspects linked to the vehicle were taken into custody. Officials say they have since been transferred to Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, for further investigation and interrogation by higher security authorities. The rescued children are now in safe custody as the state works to verify their identities, check their health conditions, and establish the purpose of their movement. I urge every Governor in Southern Nigeria to resist today’s order by General Buhari for a review of 368 Grazing Reserves in 25 states. Buhari has no power to do that under Nigeria’s law and his killer herdsmen kinsmen have not yet succeeded in making Nigeria a Taliban state. 


Any Southern Governor foolish enough to accept Grazing Reserves should look at Southern Kaduna. Look also at Edo, where they are sacrilegiously trying to install a Sultan. 


There is enough land at Sambisa Forest. If herdsmen want to graze, then Buhari should give them land there. 


And Southern Governors should start arming their state police in exactly the same way Kano has armed Hisbah. Whatever law allows Kano to have Hisbah should also allow Southern states have their own version!.
