 Man who allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times to death in Ogun ‘commits suicide’ A middle-aged man identified as Mr Ayoola Ayanwale, has been found dead in a suspected su!cide hours after he allegedly m#rdered his wife, Ayobami, at the River Valley Estate area of Ogun State. Ayanwale had allegedly stabbed his wife and mother of three to death on Thursday, January 8 in their apartment after what some described as a heated argument between them.  Neighbors in the estate said they heard a loud noise from the compound of the couple and quickly rushed in, only to find her with deep cuts and in a pool of her own blood. They mentioned that they quickly mobilized and rushed her to the hospital. They said while on their way, she demanded for water as well as asked what her offence was for her husband to inflict such injuries on her.  The neighbors said it wasn’t up to five minutes they arrived the hospital that she gave up the ghost. Minister Mourns Late Nollywood Star, Victor Olaotan


The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has condoled with the family, friends and fans of the popular Nollywood actor, Mr. Victor Olaotan, who reportedly died on Thursday.


In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday, the Minister said the hard work and commitment to excellence of the likes of Mr. Olaotan are the

reasons Nollywood has taken the world by storm.


''A distinguished thespian and a gentleman, Mr. Olaotan brought joy to many homes through his talent, and was a source of inspiration to the

younger generation of actors and actresses in the country,'' he said.


Alhaji Mohammed, who also commiserated with the entire Nollywood industry, prayed to God to give succour to the family left behind by Mr. Olaotan, and to grant repose to the soul of the departed.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
