 Man who allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times to death in Ogun ‘commits suicide’ A middle-aged man identified as Mr Ayoola Ayanwale, has been found dead in a suspected su!cide hours after he allegedly m#rdered his wife, Ayobami, at the River Valley Estate area of Ogun State. Ayanwale had allegedly stabbed his wife and mother of three to death on Thursday, January 8 in their apartment after what some described as a heated argument between them.  Neighbors in the estate said they heard a loud noise from the compound of the couple and quickly rushed in, only to find her with deep cuts and in a pool of her own blood. They mentioned that they quickly mobilized and rushed her to the hospital. They said while on their way, she demanded for water as well as asked what her offence was for her husband to inflict such injuries on her.  The neighbors said it wasn’t up to five minutes they arrived the hospital that she gave up the ghost. NIGERIA BECOMING MOST TERRORISED NATION IN THE WORLD UNDER BUHARI- CATHOLIC BISHOPS.{PHOTO}.

The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, has said that Nigeria is becoming one of the most terrorized nations in the world and asked the federal government to end the high level of insecurity in the country in the interest of the traumatised present generation.


The clerics made this known in a communique issued to journalists in Abuja by the National Director of Social Communications, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja at the end of the second plenary of the Bishops’ Conference, yesterday.


In the Communique co-signed by the CBCN President, His Grace Archbishop Augustine Akubeze; and Secretary, Most Revd Camillus Umoh, the Catholic bishops said that the government must be balanced and seen to be so in its response to the challenges of insecurity.


While condemning the widespread attacks by bandits, they stated that “life has never been so cheap, nor has Nigeria ever been at the stage we are now.”


The Catholic bishops said it is clearly in the interest of the Federal Government, and of the entire nation, to ensure that the youths in all parts of the country are gainfully employed as a way of reducing the unrest.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
