 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ON INEC VOTER REGISTRATION AT ANAMBRA WARDS.{PHOTO}.

Public Service Announcement On INEC Voter Registration At Anambra Wards 


This is to inform the public that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will begin the Continuous Voter Registration exercise at all the 326 Wards in Anambra State beginning from Monday, 30 August 2021. 


The address and location of the registration centre in each wards is published at the 21 LGA offices of INEC. 


The exercise will end on Sunday, 5th September 2021.

 

The continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise is for the following categories of people: 

1. New Registrants (that is, persons that are up to 18 years of age but who have not registered before)

2. Old registrants who have experienced any form of problem with accreditation in the past elections, such as failure to read their card, failed authentication process, fingerprint issues and when a voter has PVC but can’t find his or her name in the electoral Register

3. Old Registrants seeking transfer, collection of cards, correction of personal information etc.

 

The Commission calls on eligible registrants to take advantage of this opportunity to register in order to participate in the November 6, 2021 governorship election. 


Please note that in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, the CVR exercise in Anambra State will be suspended on 6th September 2021.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
