Nigerian man, Chimaobim arrested after caught with pants off, exposing self in public in U.S U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Nigerian national, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe in Pennsylvania after he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge following a public exposure incident. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said ICE took Igbojekwe into custody on October 1, following his arrest by local police on September 27. According to DHS, Igbojekwe pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge. Following his conviction, ICE arrested him on October 1. Local reports cited by DHS said Igbojekwe was working as a canvasser for Janelle Stelson, the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, when the incident occurred. He was allegedly found in a residential neighbourhood near a park with his trousers down and exposed in public, with residents, including children, in the area. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ON INEC VOTER REGISTRATION AT ANAMBRA WARDS.{PHOTO}.

Public Service Announcement On INEC Voter Registration At Anambra Wards 


This is to inform the public that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will begin the Continuous Voter Registration exercise at all the 326 Wards in Anambra State beginning from Monday, 30 August 2021. 


The address and location of the registration centre in each wards is published at the 21 LGA offices of INEC. 


The exercise will end on Sunday, 5th September 2021.

 

The continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise is for the following categories of people: 

1. New Registrants (that is, persons that are up to 18 years of age but who have not registered before)

2. Old registrants who have experienced any form of problem with accreditation in the past elections, such as failure to read their card, failed authentication process, fingerprint issues and when a voter has PVC but can’t find his or her name in the electoral Register

3. Old Registrants seeking transfer, collection of cards, correction of personal information etc.

 

The Commission calls on eligible registrants to take advantage of this opportunity to register in order to participate in the November 6, 2021 governorship election. 


Please note that in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, the CVR exercise in Anambra State will be suspended on 6th September 2021.
