 AAU Rusticates 34 Medical Students Over Exam Malpractices Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has rusticated 34 students from its College of Medicine for involvement in exam malpractices during the 2022/2023 academic session. According to a university bulletin signed by F.O. Omoigui and Otunba Mike Ade Aladenika, the affected students—mostly in 300, 400, and 500 levels—were penalized with rustications ranging from two to four semesters following a disciplinary committee report. Offenses included smuggling materials into exam halls, impersonation, and refusing to submit scripts. Six students were cleared, two advised to be of good conduct, and one received a warning. The university reaffirmed its zero-tolerance stance on academic misconduct.

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty. This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.


 He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.
