 Sodomy: Kwara man Ganiyu Kehinde arrested over alleged abuse of 2 teenagers A 45-year-old man identified as Ganiyu Kehinde has been arrested for allegedly engaging in acts of homosexuality with two teenagers at lpata-Oloje Area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. Kehinde was arrested by operatives of the Kwara Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) after the incident was reported at the Gender Unit of the Command on April 14 by the parents of the victims and concerned members of the community.Nigerian cuisine “Some parents and members of the community alleged that the suspect had been involved in repeated homosexual acts with two teenage boys, ages 15 and 19,” Kwara State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr Umar Mohammed said while confirming the incident to journalists in Illorin on Tuesday. Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State will hand over formally to his successor at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, on March 17, 2022.


The governor’s wife, Dr (Mrs) Obiano stated this whle interacting with wives of traditional rulers from all the communities and directors of Catholic Women's Organization, CWO, from five dioceses in Anambra State.


Addressing the women, the governor's wife noted that the airport remains one of the dream projects of her husband, stating that he has pursued the project with immense passion despite discouraging economic downturns. 


On the November 6 governorship poll in Anambra State, Dr (Mrs) Obiano disclosed that it is only the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA and her candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo that can deliver democratic goodwill to Ndi Anambra.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
