 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. INSECURITY: NCC SHUTS DOWN ALL TELECOM OPERATIONS IN ZAMFARA STATE.[PHOTO].

 The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced the shutdown of all telecom operations sites in Zamfara to deal with the rising insecurity.


The NCC disclosed this in a statement on Friday evening, signed by its CEO, Prof. Umar Danbatta, viewed by Nairametrics.


“The pervading security situation in Zamfara State has necessitated an immediate shut down of all telecommunications services in the State from today September 03, 2021,” the statement said.


They added that the shutdown is to enable relevant security agencies carry out required activities towards addressing the security challenge in the state.


“In line with this requirement, Globalcom is hereby directed to shut down all sites n Zamafara state and any sites in neighbouring states that could provide telecommunications series in Zamfara State,” it said.


They added that the shutdown will operate for 2 weeks from the 3rd of September to the 17th of September.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
