Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Miyetti Allah Chairman Shot Dead By Bandits In Kaduna


Gunmen have killed Abubakar Abdullahi, the chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State.


The attack happened in the early hours of Friday, the the Director of Media and Publicity of MACBN in Kaduna State, Ibrahim Bayero-Zango, confirmed the incident to our correspondent, even as there was no official statement from the state or the Police.


According to the MACBAN’s spokesman, the attackers stormed the home of the chairman, popularly known as Dambardi, in Lere town at about 1:00am.


He added that the gunmen demanded N20m from him before he was whisked away to where the assailants later killed him along the Saminaka-Mariri-Zango highway.


Although he was able to raise N250,000 for the assailants, they took him to the back of the town along the Saminaka-Mariri- Zango highway where they shot him dead.
