 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. 2022 Budget: Ogun begins town hall meeting in Ogun East


Ogun State government will on Wednesday commence Town Hall Meetings on the 2022 budget.


The meeting scheduled to kick start in Ogun East Senatorial District at will start by 2p.m will be conducted virtually.


In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Kunle Somorin, the topic of the meeting is 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and 2022 Budget and Citizens Engagement.


"The citizens’ engagement meeting was meant to engage stakeholders and rub minds with them to obtain their inputs and thoughts to engender a citizen budget for the year 2022.


"Expected participants are to connect through ZOOM video communications with the meeting ID: 827 4548 2808 and pass code, 309066, starting from 2p.m", Somorin stated.
