 POPE LEO XIV TO UNDERGO LUNG SURGERY Pope Leo XIV has announced that he will undergo surgery in the coming days to remove a lump on his lung, which was detected at a very early stage. During his weekly Angelus address in St Peter’s Square on Sunday, the 71-year-old pontiff told the crowd that a lung nodule had been discovered during recent medical checks and was highly localised. The statement by the Vatican press office adds that Doctors had recommended an operation to remove it, and that the procedure had already been planned.  It further confirms that his recovery was expected to take about one week. Born in Chicago, Leo became the first American pope in May 2025, following the death of his Argentine predecessor, Pope Francis, on 21 April 2025. He was elected on 8 May 2025 to lead the world’s 1.4 billion Catholics. Gbajabiamila salutes Oba of Lagos Rilwanu Akiolu at 78


The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu on his 78th birthday.


Gbajabiamila said Oba Rilwan has been a great inspiration to leaders across the country, noting that his leadership qualities are unique.


The Speaker said at 78, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has demonstrated uncommon commitment and dedication to the growth and development of his people and Nigerians as a whole.


He said he was personally proud of the Oba of Lagos, whom he described as a pillar of hope and unity.


Speaker Gbajabiamila noted with delight the selfless service of the Oba of Lagos since his ascension to the throne in 2003, saying Oba Rilwan Akiolu has been a father to all.


Gbajabiamila prayed for more fruitful years in good health and increased wisdom for the Oba of Lagos.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
