 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. GOV. ZULUM REPRESENTED PRESIDENT BUHARI AT NIGER REPUBLIC'S INDEPENDENCE DAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Buhari represented by Zulum at Niger Republic’s Independence Day 


President Muhammadu Buhari was today represented by Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum at Niger Republic’s 63rd Independence Day celebration.  


The Presidential celebration event took place today, Saturday, in Diffa town of Diffa province with President of Niger Republic, Muhammad Bazoum leading the National celebrations.  


Niger commemorates its National days on 18th of December every year with ceremonies attended by world leaders and their representatives.  


Every year, the celebration is hosted on rotational basis at regional capitals across the country with this year’s hosted in Diffa.  


Governor Zulum joined dignitaries who included the Prime Minister of Chad, Albert Pahimi Padacke, the Speaker of Niger Republic’s National Assembly, Seidou Umar, Nigerien Minister of defence, Alkasum Indatou, and Governor of Diffa Province, Isa Lameen. 


Highpoint of this year’s celebration was the conferment of National honours to 20 personalities, amongst them, the Governor of Diffa Province, Isa Lameen, who was decorated with Niger’s National honour, Officer Dan's  l'ordre national du Niger.  


The President of Niger Republic, Muhammad Bazoum, who conferred the honour also decorated 19 other recipients amongst them, military personnel, political leaders and traditional leaders. 


Before representing President Buhari at the Nigerien National day, Governor Zulum was in Damasak where he distributed irrigation packs to 2000 resettled farmers before moving into Diffa which shares border with Damasak in the Nigerian side of Lake Chad shores.  


Governor Zulum was accompanied on the presidential trip by the Senator Representing Northern Borno, Abubakar Kyari, Borno Assembly Speaker, Abdulkarim Lawan, two members representing Abadam and Mobbar, whose constituencies share borders with Niger Republic, as well as Borno’s Commissioner for Local Government and Emirate Affairs.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
