 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. Anambra Election 2021: Aguata Rolls Out The Drums To Thank God for Soludo's Victory. 


The people of Aguata council area have rolled out their frums in thanksgiving for the victory of their illustrious son, Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the just Constituents Governorship Election in the state.


The Thanksgiving celebration led by the Transition Committee Chairman of the council area, Chief Eche Ezeibe had in attendance the traditional rulers of communities in the council  area, past chairmen of the council area and stakeholders of the area who converged on the council headquarters to thank God and acknowledge the people of the zone for their mobilization.


According to the Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Council, Chief Eche Ezeibe, the achievements recorded during the election is a collective one for APGA members and other political parties as Professor Soludo was the "best bride for all right suitors," assuring the people of the fulfilment of all the  campaign promises of the party.


An APGA chieftain in the area, Chief Titus Anigbogu said  that all will be rewarded for their tireless efforts during the campaign as Soludo is one is always appreciative and a man of style and quality, asking them to continue with their political meetings and mobilization of all those who supported the party during the last election.


For a former chairman of the council area, Chief Nobert Udoye expressed joy that God through his infinite mercy has continued to bless and safeguard the state as the true light of the nation as calmness has returned to the state.


Chief Everlistus  Ubah, campaign committee Chairman of Aguata council and former commissioner of environment said that during the electioneering campaign it was too easy to identify the seed from the weed due to the uprightness and prestigious achievement of Soludo and pointed out that their solidarity will continue to be a testimony not just for Ndi Anambra but the Igbo race.
