 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. EFCC Arraigns Car Dealer for N2m Fraud in Gombe


The Gombe Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 arraigned a Car dealer, Ahmadu Dauda Jadda, before Justice J.A. Awak of Gombe State High Court on a one count charge of stealing to the tune of N2,000,000.00 ( Two Million Naira) only.


Jadda, who deals in used vehicles, was alleged to have approached the complainant to purchase a Volkswagen Sharon bus at N2, 000,000. He offered to pay N1.200, 000 in two weeks and the balance in four equal installments.


After taking possession of the vehicle, the defendant only paid N500, 000. And, all efforts by the complainant to recover the balance or his vehicle, failed.


Investigation by EFCC revealed that the defendant upon taking possession of the vehicle, promptly sold it and diverted the proceed for personal use.
