 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.  I Don't Have Money For Court Case, Peter Obi Tells Man Asking Him To Run For Presidency


Former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has told a tweep, he doesn't have money to fund a court case if sued.


The tweep, #FakeBuhari had issued an ultimatum to the former vice presidential candidate, to declare for the presidency by the end of the month or be sued.


He said, "Sir, if at the end of this month and you don't declare interest for presidency in the 2023 election, then be ready for a legal action from me. Leave #AFCON2021 for Orji UZOR Kalu, that's his calling, not yours. Your calling is excellent economic leadership."


Quoting the tweet, Obi responded, "I wish I knew your real name. But the truth is, I don’t have money to spend on a court case o. Give me some time :)."
