 Barack Obama 'confident' America will have a female president 'sometime soon': 'It’ll become normalized' Barack Obama recently expressed optimism about America’s political future, saying he believes the country will elect a female president “sometime soon.”  In an interview with People, the former president explained that just as his own election in 2008 helped normalize the idea of a Black president, he expects that a woman in the Oval Office will eventually be seen as unremarkable.  He noted that once the milestone is reached, public focus will shift to everyday issues like gas prices and policy outcomes rather than the novelty of gender. Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano has said that having shown keen willingness to work, she is certain that wife of Anambra governor-elect, Mrs Nonye Soludo would do an impressive job when her husband finally assumes office.

Dr (Mrs) Obiano who stated this while speaking to the ABS in Awka, reassured that the incoming governor's wife shares a distinct social ideology and, has overtime, demonstrated her desire to add positive values to her husband's administration.

She said that Mrs Soludo is already at home with the social terrains of Anambra State, and with her fervent involvement in the last local government tour, is aware of what lies ahead and taken note of her job priorities.

While urging her to bring Anambra women and children close in all her programs, the governor's wife noted that this group of people form the largest social reserve in the state and also gave her fund memories that she would always relish.

Dr (Mrs) Obiano also allayed fears that her charity organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, would fold up when the present administration winds down, reassuring that she would continue to show her passion through unconditional charity.

She wished the governor-elect's wife well, urging her to help her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, achieve the best for Anambra State.
