  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. The photos from a couple's proposal is going viral days after because the lady knelt down to accept the engagement ring from her man.

According to Sunny Oduru, who shared the photos on Sunday, the lady, Joy said, it is an abomination for her new fiance, "Suotongha Michael Ineintiemo to kneel down before her to propose as her king."

When proposing, it is expected of the man to go down on one knee. This practice is based on Western culture, which some people have adopted.
