 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. TEENAGERS ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTING TO USE A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL FOR RITUALS IN BAYELSA.{PHOTOS}.

Detectives of Bayelsa State Police Command in collaboration with youth of Sagbama Community have arrested three suspects for attempted r!tual k!lling.


It is reported that the suspects namely; Emomotimi Magbisa, 16, Perebi Aweke, 15, and Eke Prince, 15, all natives of Sagbama Community, on Monday January 3, allegedly accosted one Endeley Comfort and lured her to Emomotimi’s apartment.


According to a statement by the Bayelsa’s police command’s spokesperson, SP Asinim Butswat, they c*t the victim’s finger and sprinkled the bl*od on a mirror for r!tual purposes.


Vigilant youth noticed the suspicious movements of the suspects and raised an alarm. The suspects were subsequently arrested and some substance suspected to be charms were recovered from them. The suspects have confessed to the crime while the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
