  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us. Two Gate Men Disappear With Oga's 8.5 Million Naira In Lagos State


Robbed of $15,000


These two boys who are gate men in an apartment in Lekki broke into the apartment I stay in Lekki, tore my travel bag and made away with my $15,000 (N8.5M) around 11:30pm last night. 


The apartment manager who came around went me alongside policemen to other apartments where the thieves colleagues are security men only to discover that the five of them have suddenly all disappeared that night.


The five Benue boys have switched off their phones. The one on the left is Stephen Oche. Their guarantor, Abraham also bolted away last night, apparently after being told by Isreal of his new found fortune.


Anyone who can help me get them have a reward of N1 million.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
